The Arc

ABOUT ASSITARC

The heart behind AssistArc Foundation is to teach individuals how to reconcile their past to their future, to address the negative self-thoughts and believe that manifests in different areas of their lives, because we believe that man is what he thinks, our work focuses on challanging mental thought patterns and narratives.

We've discovered that the average African is often not afforded the luxury of self-reflection and self-improvement because the number one challenge most Africans face is - poverty and unemployment.

This has developed into PHASE A - ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, which aims to foster independence and self-reliance in individuals by becoming a bridge between them and the acquisition of relevant. in-demand and employable skills.

Thus our aim for this year is to Train, Upskill and Place 100 individuals.

Our Projects

We run workshops, projects and initiatives yearly alongside our main services. Here's our journey so far:

Empower360 2025

The workshop was facilitated by skilled trainers who led participants through interactive group activities, self reflection exercises, and practical skill-building sessions. These activities encouraged participants to explore their identities, strengthen leadership abilities, and enhance digital awareness.

The focus on self-leadership helped participants recognize their strengths and take initiative in shaping their personal and professional growth. One particularly effective activity involved giving participants a list of online learning platforms that offered a variety of categories of skills to explore different career paths. This helped them see that they are capable of finding and developing new skills on their own.

Overall, the bootcamp successfully fostered self-discovery, teamwork, and motivation, leaving a lasting impression and a strong desire for continued learning.

Empowering Refugee Women and Girls through Digital & Health Literacy 2024

Globally, nearly half the population remains offline, with women in developing countries disproportionately affected (World Wide Web Foundation ,2017; Rajasekhar & Jaishree , 2020), an estimated 3.9 billion individuals lack internet access, highlighting the persistent digital divide.

To tackle this challenge AssistArc Foundation,  launched a pilot project aimed at improving digital and health literacy among 11 underprivileged refugee women and girls. Two baselines assessments using structured questionnaires evaluated participants’ Digital Skills and Online Health Literacy
